Leave it to Beaver: An Award-Winning Partnership for Trillium CNG

Posted March 2, 2018

Two years ago, Trillium CNG and the Larson Design Group partnered to design, build, finance, operate and maintain a compressed natural gas fueling program in Pennsylvania. Now, in 2018, that partnership has paid off exponentially. The Beaver County Chapter of the Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers has selected the design of the Beaver County Transit Authority CNG fueling station as the 2017 Project of the Year.

This Rochester, Pennsylvania, project is just one of 29 CNG stations designed by LDG and constructed by Trillium across the commonwealth. Eight of these CNG fueling stations are already open and serving CNG customers across the state. Trillium is operating and maintaining each of these stations over 20 years at zero cost to the taxpayer.

The benefits of CNG are both widespread and local; the Trillium and LDG project provides CNG to 1,600 public-transit buses, saves on fuel and operational costs, reduces harmful exhaust emissions and supports local jobs with locally sourced fuel.

Trillium CNG and the Larson Design group have made an award winning partnership with award winning results. Click here to see a full list of public-access Trillium CNG locations.
