“This is a great partnership with Heritage Cooperative, Precision Strip and the City of Kenton, who all recognize the importance of making CNG available in the Kenton market,” said Charles Koontz, vice president of sales, marketing and engineering for Trillium CNG.

Koontz; Eric Parthemore, chief executive officer of Heritage Cooperative; Dale Scheiderer, vice president board of directors of Heritage Cooperative; Randy Manns, mayor of Kenton; and Jim Lammers, general manager of transport for Precision Strip, Inc. provided grand opening remarks.

The CNG station is a public access Class-8 fueling station that operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week and features Trillium CNG’s proprietary fast-fill hydraulic intensifier to fuel three dedicated CNG dispensers.
“With the addition of CNG, we plan to convert our Kenton fleet of trucks to 100 percent natural gas by the end of 2016, said Lammers, general manager of Transport of Precision Strip, Inc.
